Welcome UCLA West Valley Medical Center!

We are excited to welcome you to UCLA Health! As you begin your new career with UCLA Health, you have been enrolled in several online mandatory compliance training courses to be completed within your first 30 days. These are the same courses all new UCLA Health employees complete to help ensure we work together to reduce risks, ensure patient safety, and foster a culture of respect and compliance. If you recently completed similar courses during your HCA employment, that course completion information is not transferring, and we therefore need you to complete all assigned courses.

Learning Information 

There are two learning management systems (LMS) where you access your assigned training:

• Cornerstone: the UCLA Health LMS
• UC Learning Center: the LMS for all University of California (UC) locations

On your start date with UCLA Health, you will receive training email notifications in your UCLA Health mednet email with links to both systems. In addition, when you log into either LMS, you can access your assigned trainings at any time. Some trainings are assigned to all UCLA Health employees regardless of role, and other trainings are assigned based on your role (e.g., clinical vs. non-clinical).

If you experience any technical issues when completing these courses, please check out these troubleshooting hints available in the Employee Experience Center (EEC), which you access using your mednet credentials.

 

Manager Resources

All managers have access to view their direct reports’ compliance training status via the Training Compliance Dashboard. If there is a member of your team who assists you in tracking compliance training completion, please submit a Training Compliance Dashboard request in the EEC and access to the dashboard will be granted.

Training Troubleshooting and Support 

If you have any questions about mandatory compliance training, or encounter any technical issues you are not able to resolve via the troubleshooting tips, please open an HR System Inquiry in the EEC and select which system you need training assistance with in the drop-down (Cornerstone LMS or UC Learning Center) and a member of our team will assist.
